Have you ever tried Italian Panettone? It is a delicious Christmas cake that you can find on everyone’s table on Christmas night.
Panettone can be eaten in slices or used to create new, delicious recipes to surprise your hosts.
To celebrate these holidays together, we decided to give you a delicious Christmas recipe from our own restaurant based on classic panettone.
A wonderful and tasty Christmas dessert made with panettone, chocolate, cointreau and orange. A cake that smells of festivities, of fireplace and happiness.
Panettone truffles with Cointreau
Ingredients for 6 people:
- 200g fresh cream
- 600 g milk chocolate
- 50 g Cointreau
- 300 g panettone
- 50 g candied orange
- For the coverage 300 g milk chocolate 100 g bitter cocoa
Method:
Chop the chocolate, boil the cream and add the chocolate.
Add the crumbled panettone, the orange and the Cointreau.
Mix until you get a homogeneous mass, then form small balls leaving them to rest on the parchment paper.
Melt the chocolate for the cover in the microwave, roll the balls in it and in the end roll them in the cocoa.
